This is our style of rock and roll No apologies Welcome to the freakshow We don’t need an intro No apologies Filthy but intelligent Our image is obnoxious and un approachable People won’t like it they want “comfort rock and roll” A different brand of rock and roll No-ones heard these words before A brand new religion This is not thought control We got back word from the Label today Don’t like our music they don’t like what we play We got back word from the Label today Don’t like our style they don’t like what we say We don’t care cause we’re gonna do this our way

I still live with my mom While she works hard all day long I don’t work 9 – 5 And all I want is….. My body is a party machine I’ve been going crazy since I turned 16 I know I was born to be free A life of sex, drugs and apathy I stare up at the sun…. Five days blur into one… workers of the world, you have nothing left to lose except the shackles through which you are chained, this song is for everyone, who ever worked a dead end job who ever wanted to challenge the status quo……. Sex, drugs and rock and roll

Sometimes I feel like the records stuck Another 5 day week, I’m down on my luck Cos I’m an lonely man, A bottle in my hand, You will never FUCKIN understand. Its an addiction with a love hate twist I hate to be sober but I love to be pissed. I’m not sure what I like more, The hangover, or the night before That’s when I realised, that there’s more to life than me I’ve been drinking since 1993 That’s when I realised, there’s more to life than me The road to nowhere since 1993 Sometimes I think it’s the end of the road My friends are gone and I’m on my own Cos I’m a desperate man, another one night stand, You will never FUCKIN understand. My life revolves around temporary gain I get drunk to block out the pain It takes away my memories Memories carried since ‘93 So, Raise your fist, To show you’re ready to roll Raise your fist if you’re addicted to alcohol Stand up - and raise your fist

Life is all we got You gotta take it or not Cos this shit aint easy So raise your fist in the air, To show that you don’t care And that you’re ready to riot. We’ve got nothing to lose So lets break the rules We’re gonna start a riot Life is all we got You gotta take it or not Cos this shit aint easy Take back your life Take back your rights This is our fight

It all started when Eve made Adam bite the apple from the sacred tree…. He wanted to get laid WHIPPED YEAH You know that you are PUSSY, pussy whipped You know that you are, PUSSY WHIPPED They know what we want. They know what they’ve got. Pussy whipped - you know that you are Pussy whipped - we know what we want Pussy whipped - you know that you are Pussy whipped - we know what we want Why can’t you se the MONO – monotony It’s always the same MONOGAMY You do what she says, You’re chained to her leg Resistance, Resistance, Resistance Resistance its futile Resistance its pointless Resistance They won’t let go Strippers and whisky Alright – listen up jocks, cock rockers, skin heads and punks. At the end of the day, when all’s said and done, we’re all pussy whipped. We’re all pussy whipped. We’re all pussy whipped.

Disorder 03:00
You’ve gotta hold on for a little bit longer, This pain you feel will only make you stronger I know you just want the pain to end. Remember that I am your friend I have disorder in my mind, I feel the hate from deep inside I have disorder in my mind I feel the hate Do my words fall upon deaf ears? It seems as if there’s, no-one left who cares My mind is empty and the feelings gone I tried to hold back but I couldn’t hold on Staring up at the sky Staring up at the sky You’ve gotta hold on for a little bit longer, This pain you feel will only make you stronger That’s what they said – when I gave up And that’s what they said – when I gave in

Breakout 03:17
Just 5 more days, Just 4 more days, Just 3 more days… Day by day I sit inside this cage Wondering how am I going to escape When I break out WHAT THE FUCK WILL I DO I thought about - This so long now I am confused I am here for something I did not do Authorities fabricated the truth Till I break free from it all I must be wise in the paths that I choose For error there is no room Till I break free from it all I had a good normal life - But you turned it around To save face time and money - In the name of the crown Now I’m going away - For a long long time But before I get locked up I got something to say That in no form or front or way was justice served When my time is up you’ll get what you deserve When this is all over I’ll make sure you burn Cos every last motherfucker will know The truth’s been heard Break out, Break out you’re still alive Break out, Break out you’re still alive Break out, Break out you’re still alive Break out, Break out YOU’RE STILL ALIVE Break out, Break out you’re still alive Break out, break out You’re still alive You’re dead inside

Swart en Wit 03:35
Can you remember? A time not so long ago It seemed like a different world to me I can remember. But still not believe I can remeber – but still not believe Can you remember the black and white Dark Black THUNDERCLOUDS - Covered the sky Dark Black THUNDERCLOUDS – Rained black and white It’s a fight the world has fought before But now we have the need to fight it once more We were divided, segregated, along racial lines I ask you have things really changed? Or have they just stayed the same…. We still call each other, the black and white In my dreams the future it looks bright No more differences between black and white I hope tomorrow - when I awake that day will finally dawn When I grow up to be an old man I hope I can be proud to be a South African We’re not different we’re black and white We bleed - Our blood bleeds red We bleed - We’re black and white

With over 3 years in the making The Monotony of Monogamy was lauded by many critics as one of the biggest and most exciting DIY Rock n’ Roll projects South Africa has ever seen.
